Drive to Bondowoso with 4 hours if to Banyuwangi 6-7 hours , the gateway to Ijen. At midnight start from hotel Banyuwangi, and at 11.30 pm start from Bondowoso,, at 2 am begin your hike to Kawah Ijen (Ijen Crater) to witness the rare natural phenomenon of blue fire — a surreal glow caused by burning sulfur gas.
